A versatile adaptable studio space.
Jim's busy studio has been designed to make it a highly adaptable space for him to work in - be it photographing paintings or colour-checking giclée prints, every day is different. Most of the kit is on wheels or foldable, and the lights are mounted with pantographs to the high-glide rails suspended from the high ceiling. The result is an efficient system adaptable to shooting a wide range of subjects while providing a straightforward, clutter-free workspace. There is free easy on-site parking outside the double doors, with level access into the studio.
Jim's wide palette of subjects has included everything from tiny glass beads to antique jewellery, handbuilt audio speakers to vintage firearms, a regular diet of artwork and artisan furniture, and even a penny farthing! There is always the opportunity for humans to take advantage of the opportunity for a set of decent headshots, and let's not forget the dog on a skateboard...
